Mark Savickas
President
Mark Savickas founded Precision West Technologies in 1989 and began as the sole employee. Today, he has grown the business into a leading technology company in the Roseville, Sacramento, Northern California, Bay Area and Northern Nevada regions. Mark’s business philosophy is to:
- Hire the best people who fit the PWT team
- Deliver the best products and solutions for clients
- Keep staff trained and working in their field of expertise
- Provide staff and clients with the best processes
Mark enjoys spending time with family, with friends, outdoors, and getting involved in his community. He is typically found spending his spare time skiing, on the golf course, hunting, and fishing. Mark moved to Montana just after high school, where he found the technology classes that inspired the career he is so passionately involved in today. Technologies and delivery of those services have always been professional passions for Mark, and he looks to continue to find ways to resolving issues for clients.
Mark has served as a board member for Progressive Employment Concepts, a local non-profit, and has been a member of the Sacramento Entrepreneurs Organization Chapter. He is proud of their contributions to the community and has been tasked to leverage his role to help grow and assist his community. We serve the technologies and integration marketplace. Shannon Conway
Project Manager/Estimator
Shannon is a Bay Area transplant from Cupertino that has been living in the Sacramento region for 20 years. He is married with 3 daughters, and has a diverse professional background that includes Contract Manufacturing, IT Project Management, Small Business Owner, Restaurant Manager, and Owner. Shannon has done a lot of things in his life, and finds it very rewarding to be constantly learning new things.
One of the things he is most proud of is his time in the USAF. He was an Air Traffic Controller, and did a short tour as a Military Policeman during Desert Storm. The former was a lot more fun than the latter.
What Shannon brings to PWT is a history of electronics, manufacturing, and sales. He is a team builder and problem solver by nature. He will do his best to make sure that your company’s needs are taken care of professionally, quickly and reasonably.
Trevor Nielsen
Supervisor of IT & VoIP Specialist
Trevor joined Precision West Technologies in April of 2018. He is a driven Network Technician, providing technological knowledge and support with computer & server networks, VoIP systems & services, video surveillance, and door access control. He is a very resourceful problem solver. Trevor graduated at the top of his class at his technical, vocational school.
Trevor loves his job, but also loves living his life outside the office. He is a family-oriented person who loves to help those in need. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, whether it is hiking, wine tasting, or staying home to watch movies and hanging out with their dog Ellie. He also loves watching/playing sports. Trevor grew up playing baseball, tennis, and basketball, but currently plays Pickleball & Softball. His favorite sports to watch are baseball, football, and NASCAR.
Evelyn Klaas
Accountant Manager
Evie joined the PWT team in 2019. She has years of experience in accounting and working in several industries. She enjoys accounting and assisting in other aspects of the business. She has a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from California State University, Sacramento. She works with a couple CPAs, especially during tax season, to process tax returns in a timely manner. Evie believes in providing support to the employees, as we are a team that provides the best for our customers, our workplace, and our fellow workmates.
Evie also enjoys other activities. Her husband, Ken, keeps her busy with ongoing projects, real estate ventures, and visiting Lake Tahoe and the North Coast. If it is football season, you can find her rooting for the Dolphins, watching them play at her daughter’s house with all the family attending. Other than that, she likes spending time with her chickens and her little pup, Fritzie.
Samantha Kelly
Operations Manager
Sam joined the PWT team in 2018 as the administrative assistant. She graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. She has worked her way to Operations Coordinator due to her quick learning abilities. Sam schedules the technicians for their daily tasks, repair requests, and projects. She is our billing and purchase coordinator and records entries for accuracy and tracking. If you have a question about your account or work to be performed, you have found your contact. She keeps Precision West organized and up to date.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys playing soccer, camping, hanging out with her boyfriend and her family, or just being at home with her dog, Roxy.

The case study for the Peace Officers Research Association of California
Staff members were uncomfortable leaving the building at night and the building also had an increase of people sleeping in their lot during the longer night hours of winter time. In searching for a way to combat the vandalism and crime taking place, PORAC knew a solution was needed that not only discouraged homeless from taking over the lot and surrounding areas, but also created 
PORAC had the ability to now pinpoint exact time stamps in the video without having to research for hours due to the self-learning analytics, which also instantly adapt to changes and movement patterns upon installation. The pricing model was also beneficial for PORAC as there were no recurring fees after installation and they owned the cameras system after purchase. All software updates and analytics are included with the purchase of the cameras as well as ongoing technical support from Avigilon.
PORAC’s new surveillance technology provided an instant impact to the organization. The amount of homeless using the parking lot has been significantly reduced. Precision West Technologies’ video surveillance solution allowed PORAC to see where they were coming from and identify who and when someone was on the property. They had the ability to deny access to the lot and easily remove them from the area, by knowing when the area was being occupied.

The case study of Foothill Fire Protection, Inc
Foothill Fire and Protection was operating under a break-fix IT relationship with an outsourced IT vendor, meaning if something was broken or needed repair, the company would come out and fix the problem. There was no proactive management or direct relationship with the IT vendor to ensure the network was maintained correctly. Foothill Fire was constantly needing to engage with their vendor anytime they had issues, which led to more downtime for the company and additional costs with loss of productivity. Foothill Fire was not receiving the help they needed to use their IT network as leverage for their business. Instead, they were receiving cheap solutions as temporary fixes to make things easier for the vendor.
